Mercenaries

We have a prototype for the interactions now.

It goes like this : you can attach a canvas made for this purpose on the object and also put on the object the script containing the action you want to be performed. Just setup the two of them together and you’re ready to roll. It is still definitely lacking signs about what the action is and custom images but it’s a start.

There is also progress on the mercenaries selection : the player can select more than one and move them altogether.

Guard behavior

Meanwhile, the guard can react to sound and call another guard to help him inspect.

I’m triggering an artificial sound near the guard on the upper right. Upon hearing this sound, the guard call the closest guard, on the low center of the image and they both go to investigate.
Communication between guards and units is an important objective on this project.

I don’t have much to show beside this action since a guard detecting and pursuing a mercenary has already been shown in a precedent post.

Next up is the Highwayman Hideout and some Menus.
